Inquisitor Lord Dantez

That Edmond Dantez became an Inquisitor Lord is in itself as unlikely an outcome as any you could imagine. It is not that he does not fit the role, rather that the path he has trodden is so divergent from the classical mould. From humble beginnings as a Junior Officer in the Imperial Guard, Dantez has survived induction into the Ordo Malleus and risen to the pinnacle of Inquisitor Lord.

Much of his story has become shrouded in legend and varies wildly depending on who is doing the telling. There is one fact that can not be doubted. Dantez is staunchly puritanical in his beliefs, and works tirelessly to eradicate the taint of Chaos from the Empire of Man.

His unswerving dedication to Emperor and his supreme faith, Edmond Dantez was the only choice to lead the troops Task Force Omega as they seek to re-establish the light of the Emperor on the fallen worlds.

Acolyte Yakapo has been with Edmond Dantez for many years. Dantez rescued Yakapo from the heretical witch hunter Ibanez del Mar, declaring del Mar Excommunicate Traitoris following del Mar's questionable practices on Halbrett Prime. Since that time, Acolyte Yakapo has laid his life on the line for Dantez and has proved his mettle in the face of many grave dangers.

It is rumoured that should Acolyte Yakapo survive this campaign he will be returning to Terra and entering the Inquisition as a junior Inquisitor in training. Of course Terra is light years away, and the dangers to an Inquisitors Acolyte are immense. There is always the chance that Argalia VI may be on campaign too many.
